Josh & Lolly Weed: Honesty, Vulnerability, and the Gospel

  • Menlo Park LDS Stake Center Annex 1105 Valparaiso Avenue Menlo Park, CA, 94025 United States (map)

We are excited to welcome Josh and Lolly Weed as the featured speakers at our September fireside! They will be speaking on the theme of "Honesty: Why Vulnerably Sharing Struggles Makes for a More Inclusive Gospel." Josh and Lolly are in a mixed orientation marriage that received a lot of attention when Josh came out as gay on his blog back in 2012. The story of their marriage has created a lot of controversy both inside and outside of the church. In their presentation, they hope to be candidly honest about the nature of their relationship and the genuine love they have for all members of the LGBT community.

Josh Weed is a licensed marriage and family therapist who practices in Renton, WA. He is also a writer.

Lolly Weed is completing a Master's Degree in marriage and family therapy, and looks forward to joining Josh in a group practice soon. Together they have four daughters and a lot of student loans.
